These are the rules for using dera. By playing, making an account or buying derabucks, you agree to them.

Who runs dera

dera is run by Arsalan Salamat, a sole proprietor in Nova Scotia, Canada. For anything about these terms, your account or a purchase, email support@dera-app.com.

Playing

• dera is free to play, with or without an account.
• You need to be 13 or older to make an account.
• If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy derabucks.

Your account

• One account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your handle must not be offensive or pretend to be someone else. dera can change a handle that breaks this.

Playing fair

Do not:

• cheat, or use bots, scripts or anything else that plays or changes the game for you
• use a bug to get an advantage, XP, derabucks or items, instead of reporting it
• use more than one account to farm XP, derabucks or items
• harass, threaten or abuse other players, in chat or anywhere else
• try to break, overload or get into dera's servers

If you do, dera can take away what you gained from it, reset your progress, and suspend or delete your account.

Derabucks and items

• You earn derabucks by playing, and you can buy them.
• Derabucks and items are a licence to use them in dera. They are not your property, have no value in money, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be moved to another account except in ways dera itself offers.
• Items from levels can never be traded.
• dera can change items, prices, and what derabucks and items do, and can correct a balance that is wrong.

Buying derabucks

• Purchases are sold through Link, by Stripe, which takes the payment as the seller and whose terms apply to it. Your receipt comes from Link.
• Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Any tax is added at checkout, and your bank may show the price in your currency.
• Derabucks you buy are added to your account as soon as the payment goes through.
• Your first purchase gives 50% more derabucks than the pack says.

Refunds

• Purchases are final once the derabucks are in your account, except where the law says otherwise or Link gives a refund. To ask for one, contact Link through your receipt, or email support.
• If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the derabucks it gave are taken back, and so is anything bought with them. Your balance can go below zero.
• An account can be refunded at most three times. After that, dera can refuse further refunds and stop the account from buying.

Changes and endings

• dera changes as it is made: modes, items and features can be added, changed or taken out.
• If dera ever closes, it will say so in the game at least 30 days before, and stop selling derabucks when it does. Derabucks and items end with it and are not refunded.
• You can delete your account at any time in your settings. Your derabucks and items are deleted with it and are not refunded.

No guarantees

dera is provided as it is, and may sometimes be down, lose a match or have bugs. As far as the law allows, dera is not responsible for indirect losses, and its total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before. None of this takes away rights you have by law where you live.

Law

These terms are under the laws of Nova Scotia and the laws of Canada that apply there. If you live elsewhere, the consumer protections of where you live still apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A big change is also shown in the game before it applies.
